Still, we thought we’d point out some of the ones of which we’re particularly fond.
Let’s get started with the Weeping Pine design, in slate. This white-and-blue floral pattern makes us think of vast expanses of new-fallen snow. It’s a rather subdued look as compared to some of the bolder Schumacher choices, but if you’re going for sophistication and elegance, it’s a reliable standby.
The Cloud Toile comes in mineral or gold, and it would be nice for a guest bathroom. The style is vaguely Grecian, as the clouds seem to be skidding along ahead of a gentle breeze. It’s another choice that would lend itself well to some gold or copper accents in the room that would ground the otherwise airy feel this wallpaper creates.
Some people have little interest in the understated when it comes to wallpaper, though. If you want to escape to the Amazon while still in your parlor, Schumacher can certainly oblige you there.
They have several animal prints, but we particularly enjoy the Crocodile in jet or the Tortoise in either amazon or natural. The amazon is a dark green, while the natural is a reddish-orange. Both are going to arrest and hold the attention of anyone who drops by for a visit.
